Define the status before choosing polished wording
Write three plain facts for Mocchi: the task, the completed step and the remaining step. A sentence that sounds professional is not useful if it suggests the whole task is complete when a check remains.
Keep the practice example small. A fictional document is enough to work on the difference between drafting, checking and completion without adding specialist business content.
Connect task words with the work they describe
Use /vocab for the small set of words in the note. Ask /kanji about complete-word readings, then return to the status sentence. Read the expression and explain which part of the task it describes.
If a word needs later recall, save it with a useful example in a flashcard. Test yourself from meaning before revealing the answer, then use it in the handover.
| Japanese | Romaji | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 資料 | Shiryō | Materials or documents |
| 確認 | Kakunin | Checking or confirmation |
Write the completed and remaining steps separately
Draft the note yourself. Ask Mocchi whether a reader can identify what has already happened and what is still needed. Use /correct for a written correction where available and compare the meaning before and after.
A short /quiz can change the status of the same task. Identify whether the document is drafted, checked or still unfinished, and explain the phrase that supports the answer.
| Japanese | Romaji | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 資料の作成は終わりました。 | Shiryō no sakusei wa owarimashita. | Preparing the document is finished. |
| 最終確認はまだです。 | Saishū kakunin wa mada desu. | The final check is still outstanding. |
Answer the next person’s question in AI Sensei
Prepare a suitable work conversation with /kaiwa. In AI Sensei, explain the status without reading the full note. Listen to the question about the next action and answer it directly.
If you are asking another person to check the document, make that a request rather than describing it as already agreed. Confirm the responsibility after the reply.

| Japanese | Romaji | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 最終確認をお願いできますか。 | Saishū kakunin o onegai dekimasu ka. | Could I ask you to do the final check? |
Review a misunderstanding at its source
If your listener understood everything as finished, check which sentence caused that impression. If the status was clear but the request was vague, work on naming the action. Different problems need different follow-up practice.
Bring one turn to Mocchi and ask for a focused comparison. Then explain another fictional task with a different unfinished step.
Use the routine for another handover
Try a fictional event checklist or a draft schedule. State what is done, what remains and what you need from the other person. Keep the sequence while changing the facts.
Mocchi supports planning and written clarity, study tools help retrieve the relevant language, and AI Sensei makes the handover an interactive exchange. Together they connect knowledge with a useful workplace communication task.
