Choose a task with a visible finish
Introduce the purpose in a few words: arrange a meeting, ask one preference or confirm an item. A general request to have a conversation can lead anywhere. A limited task gives the short session a natural ending.
A meeting is a useful first example because you can check whether both speakers agreed on the same time. You are practising language in a fictional setting; AI Sensei is not making a real reservation or contacting another person.
Prepare facts and one opening
Write the two or three facts you need, such as tomorrow, afternoon and café. Then practise a simple opening aloud once. Do not write the entire teacher’s part, because the value of conversation includes hearing a reply you did not choose.
If you need preparation, Mocchi’s /kaiwa can help identify an appropriate topic or mission. Mocchi supports the preparation; AI Sensei provides the voiced conversation experience. Available teachers and topics depend on the plan.

Use the first turn to settle into listening
Give the opening and leave space for a reply. Speaking faster does not make the attempt more useful if you miss the information that follows. Keep your goal in view and listen for the time or preference that matters.
The 3D teacher setting and natural-sounding voice are part of the experience, but your practical check is simple: can you understand enough to give a relevant next turn? A short, clear answer is a legitimate result.
Confirm the detail instead of guessing silently
If you are unsure, ask a short checking question. Clarification is part of communicating, not evidence that the whole attempt failed. Repeat the key detail and let the response tell you whether it was right.
Use the confirmation for the information you actually heard. If the reply proposed a different time, accepting your original time would leave the task unresolved.

| 午後二時ですか。 | Gogo niji desu ka. | Two in the afternoon? |
| はい、二時で大丈夫です。 | Hai, niji de daijōbu desu. | Yes, two o’clock works for me. |
Record one result and one difficulty
After the exchange, write a brief observation before it becomes vague. For example: I asked the question independently, but I needed the time repeated. That is more useful than saying the session felt good or bad.
Where your plan provides feedback, use it to identify a focused correction. Do not assume every tier includes unlimited reports or full review history. Keep your own short note so the next task has a clear purpose.
Use the experience to plan the next attempt
Choose a change that addresses what happened. If the words disappeared, retrieve the opening without looking. If listening was difficult, practise another short exchange with a different time. If the task was too large, reduce it.
Ongoing paid conversation can support repeated attempts, while Mocchi helps prepare and review relevant material. Check current access and usage limits on the pricing page. The first brief session helps you choose a next task; it cannot promise fluency or predict a complete learning outcome.
